Temujin (Genghis Khan) was born around 1162, near the border between modern Mongolia and Siberia. It was said that he was born with a blood clot in his right hand. His father, Yesugei was poisoned by the enemy clan when he was 10. The death of his father lead to the clan abandoning Temujin’s family. As a kid, Temujin’s life was very violent and challenging. He even killed one of his half-brother for staling one of his prey in a hunt. After the death of his half-brother, Temujin tok over as the head of the household of 5 siblings and a mother.
